Hudson's Hope: Land of Dinosaurs & Dams

We drove down to Hudson's Hope to get a tour of the W.A.C.Bennett Dam. This is the dam that runs on the Peace River and generates electricity for the Lower Mainland,City of Vancouver and export markets in the U.S. We arrived around 1:45pm a few minutes before the 2:30pm tour so we had time to drive round to the bridge and take a look at it in our car.During the construction of the dam dinosaur remains were found hence the place called the Land of Dinosaurs.
Unfortunately we couldnt take any cameras or phones for the tour.During the tour the guide tells us how the machines, turbines and all work. We also had the opportunity to walk around see some of the tunnels where the water enters, the cold temperatures down there(obviously). The tour is close to 45minutes long. After out tour we just moved around seeing dinosaurs footsteps, humongous footsteps they are.
Me reading on how electricity from the dam is generated
Quite an informing trip after we were done with our tour we had lunch in the park, just enjoying the weather and each other's company. And we were ready to live beautiful Hudson's Hope.
ENJOY
