Outdoorsy life:Radium Hot Springs, BC

One weekend a few weeks ago we were invited to spend some time at a lodge in Radium Hot Springs, BC. It was a good way to wind down my birthday week and to do some outdoor activities feeling the fresh breeze blow my hair far from the busy city life.

Radium Hot Springs is located close to the border of Alberta and BC, a place hidden somewhere in the beautiful mountains and national parks the West Coast has to offer. the drive was about 3hrs I guess,I slept all the way as I was tired from a long day at work.

All in all it was a good weekend getaway. We managed to take a morning walk on Saturday and later on in the day headed out for a 2hr long rafting experience at the The Kicking Horse River.

After a day filled with so many activities it was time to wind down by the lodge, got a reflexology from my friend's mother, quite relaxing feeling I had there, sipped on some Skinny Girl Rum (delicious drink) and danced some music.

On our drive back to Calgary we spotted some mountain sheep enjoying some berries right in the middle of the town. Talk about close contact with the animals.
