Stumbled upon this today and I remembered that I should live each day like its the last,love like there's no tomorrow,smile each day through the good and bad times and be thankful always because there is someone out who has it worse  than me but lives through each day.

Color Blocking 1

I decided to take my birthday visitors to Victoria Island on Saturday. After their long drive from Calgary I decided to give them some time to rest and we left to board the ferry at Horseshoe Bay around 10am. While we were waiting to board the ferry we managed to grab breakfast and I Grabbed my new found summer drink from Starbucks ,Shaken Iced Passion Tea Lemonade. Quite a refreshing drink.

We boarded the ferry a few minutes before 11am as departure was set for 11am. The ferry ride is about 2hrs but believe me you won't notice how fast time flies. Well,we did more catching up,walked around the ferry to get views from different angles and of course take pictures. Me and my girls just love pictures and who would't love to step out of the ferry and just feel the wind blow past while you pose for pictures.

I wanted to be comfy and at the same time engage in some color blocking and I managed to do that with my jumpsuit.

Birthday Dinner at Glowball Grill

My birthday dinner this year was celebrated at The Glowball Grill located in Yaletown. Reservation was 7pm but we were fashionably late ,Better late than Never. Our waitress for the night was Erenee(hope I spelt it right) and she was just good from the get go. A total of ten people attended the dinner which was good and we had baby TJ too. We ordered our starters which were five different satays and enjoyed them.

 I ordered Jumbo Tiger Prawns with greens. The prawns were really huge I must say and delicious too.

A number of people ordered Lamb Shank ,some chicken and some steak. The meals were good and of a sizable amount. And my neighbour had some pasta with prawns ,this was really good too,could taste the oregano in the food which gave the food a whole different good taste to it.

Then it was dessert time and they sang for me and I got Chocolate Bailey's Pudding with a candle on top.

Oh my ,never tasted such a good pudding like this,it had chunks of crunch chocolate in it,sauce to top it up. The dessert was D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S I tell you.

All in all it was an enjoyable night but it didnt end there more info coming up soon.

Sisterly Love

This time I didn't do the travelling I had people come over.(phew).I want to take this time to thank all the people who came through for my 2011 birthday. All the calls,texts,facebook messages,those who had me in their thoughts on my special day and those  who were present for the weekend all together. My sister Dadi, Sasha,Taroh drove all the way from Calgary on Friday the 12th and arrived around 2am. A long drive it was and thinking of it my sister def endured some pain as she broke her arm two weeks before the trip. She still managed to come through for her baby sister and made it.( I know she was in pain) but all the same it was a fun weekend.

Happy birthday to me and all the other August babies. I thank God for another year and wish for many more to come. The Lord has been good to me and continues to bless me day after day and I will never stop praising him for everything.

This year was another memorable year spending time with friends and family. It was an action packed weekend too as there was little time for my visitors as they had to drive back to Calgary,AB on Monday..

All in all I enjoyed The Weekend.

Sunny Days: You Gotta Love Them

En-route to Kitsilano Beach (downtown Vancouver)

So it's summer time yeah and you know what that means ryt, yeap short skirts,visits to the beach,sipping on the drinks and just loving the days as they come. I just love Vancouver summer days,not so hot,not humid just the perfect temperature to enjoy summer days.

SO we had a heart lunch at Nando's Chicken .nothing beats the tasty lemon and herb chicken,peri fries and some greens on the side. We took a leisurely walk down to the beach,chilled around for a bit talking and just taking the sun and the fresh air. And yes of course I had to remove my shoes to feel the sand in my feet,sat by the logs. Too bad I didn't have my bikini ( the visit to the beach wasn't planned)with me or I would have tried basking in the sun soaking it all in.

Besides the sun bathing or taking a deep in the water who goes to a beach and doesn't remove their shoes just to get a feel of the beach sand.

White Out

I don't really like wearing white cloths coz of 2 reasons.Some might see them as small or minor reason but they still stand. These reasons are they stain easily and you need to wear special undergarments.

Its not that I'm clumsy or anything but I just think if you are wearing something white you just have to be extra careful and all that. This kinda puts me in a corner and stops me from who I really am (jovial and all over the place).

Anyways on this particular day I decided to wear my short dress to attend a anniversary pool party. The day turned out to be pretty good for a pool party,mingling with friends,dancing and listening to music and yes of coz taking time to pose for pictures here and there.
